Dr. John Ong
Dr. Ong grew up in Orlando and continues a proud tradition of providing superior dental care to this community. His father Dr. Bert Ong owned and operated a successful Orlando dental practice for 25 years, and his brother practiced here before establishing his own practice in Key West. Dr. John attended the University of Florida where he received his undergraduate degree in Psychology, and the University of Southern California where he earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Ong is committed to following the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry, and utilizing state of the art technologies. However, his primary commitment is to providing first-rate care to patients and their families.
Dr. Ong specializes in oral surgery, crown and bridgework, root canals, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Beyond the graduate work he performed to earn his degree, he has completed advanced course work and training in Dental Implants. He’s a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
When he is not practicing, Dr. Ong is spending most of his time with his lovely wife and sons. He is an avid sportsman who loves fishing and tennis, and is dedicated to preserving and improving the Central Florida community that he calls home smiles of care in the industry.

They listen, they give great advice, they offer a multitude of options, and make meaningful and personalized suggestions to their patients. This is NOT a doctors office that is just out for your money - Dr Ong really takes YOU and YOUR tooth health into account, and what will be best for you in the long run. This includes not suggesting doing expensive and invasive procedures right off the bat, which may save the patients time, money, and the pain of having major procedures done.
